Intro -

• This is a 6 month placement for university students!
• An internship with us provides you with a unique opportunity to apply what you have learned at university, use your knowledge in practice and live your passion for sports.

Team -

We’ll never launch a product unless we consider it perfect. Our Product Development teams create every shirt, every shoe and every piece of equipment for thousands of athletes and fashion lovers as if it was one of a kind. And it truly is, as they weave their passion into every single product. But translating designs, drawings and renderings into real products requires a lot of decision making.

As an intern you will be directly involved in the complete product development process from design and initial prototyping to final release.

The role -

• Assist the development team in daily business and administrative tasks (e.g. building of material boards, maintenance of the fabric library etc)
• Support the product development team with specific parts of the product development process (such as costing and sample management, including testing)
• Work closely with key partners such as factories, Liaison Offices, Marketing, Design, Innovation

• Support the development team on current projects, manufacturer confirmation sample and own individual projects as assigned (e.g. handling of small ranges)

• Product Operations Football
  • The Football Footwear Development Team is focusing on football performance products which will help our athletes and consumers to perform at their best on the football pitch. When joining our football team, you will have the chance to work on products, which are worn by our best football athletes around the world. This will include our footwear but as well balls and gloves in order to give the football game all the needs. You will be closely working with marketing / design / technical teams / factories and sourcing in order to ensure world class products are coming to live.
    
• Product Operations Running amp; Credibility Sports
  • The footwear development team is focusing on running performance products. When joining our running team, you will have the chance to create amazing products, which will help our runners to increase their performance and will shape the future of elite running. You will be closely working with marketing / design / technical teams / factories and sourcing.
    
• Product Operations Basketball amp; Culture Partnerships
  • We want to be impactful, and consumer focused on the Fashion World and Street Wear Culture. Our international, diverse and footwear passionate Team of Footwear Developers, Technicians, Digital and Material Experts are turning Visions into physical products in strong collaboration with Marketing, Design, Quality, Sourcing and Supply Chain. Working on reactive and trend setting ranges, making use of our Brand Archive and Brand Innovations ensures having holistic offers for the different market needs. Joining us will give you the unique opportunity to gain experience and be actively involved within the Footwear Development creation process.

Requirements

• Student of footwear development, manufacturing, engineering, biomechanics, sports science (or similar)
• Must either be:
  • Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
  • In the gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)
  • Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate)
• Fluent English language skills (written amp; spoken)
• Strong MS Office skills
• Good textile technology skills; basic understanding of materials and costing
• Knowledge of graphic programs such as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is beneficial
• Highly motivated team player who enjoys working in an international team
• Self-starter
• Willingness to learn
