As a Senior Finance Specialist, Commercial Operations, you will be responsible for a wide range of quote to cash process related tasks, such as quote validations, order processing, subscription management and customer invoicing. As M-Files sales-related order fulfillment process and systems are developing all the time, one of the key responsibilities is to drive the change towards more streamlined operational and automated processes. You will also be participating in internal system development projects and as a senior you will be appointed a Commercial operations process ownership area based on your areas of expertise.
The role is expected to strengthen the collaboration between accounting and business operations. Therefore, strong background in finance is considered an advantage. We value flexibility and willingness to take on changing tasks as job requirements may vary. The role will be tailored based on the skills and development potential of the successful candidate.
Commercial Operations is a global organization with teams in Finland and USA. The organization is part of the Finance and Operations function and continuously collaborates with Sales and other stakeholders. As a global company, we wish you can accommodate our 'prime time office hours' 15-17 Finnish time.
The location for this position is preferably in Tampere or Helsinki area.
Senior Finance Specialist, Commercial Operations reports to Manager, Commercial Operations.
Requirements
Who you are/Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years experience in finance and business operations
- Experience in financial administration and internal controls
- Accuracy, systematic and reliable work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal and cooperation skills
- Numerical ability and good Excel skills
- Drive to develop tools, processes, and ability to deploy new practices
- Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, other languages would be an advantage
- Ability and willingness to take a proactive approach and see things through to completion
- Teamwork and positive attitude
- Ability to learn new things quickly and troubleshoot problems
- Ability to focus under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines
- A customer service mindset
- Previous experience with Zuora, Salesforce and NetSuite systems would be considered an advantage
- Previous experience in the software industry is a plus
