Job Description

We are looking for a person who is passionate about customer service to join our customer care team during our busiest time of the year as we are preparing for our annual main event. We are looking to hire two people for a full-time, temporary post from 12th of August 2024 until 11 October 2024 based in our headquarters in Jyväskylä.

Nordic Business Forum 2024 takes place at Messukeskus, Helsinki on September 25th-26th. The weeks leading to the event will be extremely busy with customer inquiries - and that’s where you come in!

As a Customer Experience Assistant you will be responding to incoming customer inquiries through our main channels of communication - You’ll be on the phone, managing email and chat, assisting customers with their orders and invoices as well as operating our official event app - Brella.

During the event week you will be working alongside an on-site customer service team as the point-of-contact to resolve any questions our event and online attendees might have throughout the event. The position requires working overtime on the event days as well as traveling to Helsinki.

We expect you to have a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems quickly as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Great communication skills in Finnish and English are also a must in daily customer interactions - we communicate however both internally and externally mainly in English.

You’ll work with a small yet agile customer care team. To help you succeed in your role, you will be supported and mentored by colleagues with years of experience in the role. More importantly, embracing a positive attitude and a proactive mindset will take you far.
