ICEYE is building and operating its own commercial constellation of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data already available to customers. These satellites can take images of Earth at any time even when it’s cloudy or dark. Information derived from these images will help our customers understand the world better and help them make more intelligent decisions. We launched the world’s first SAR microsatellite in January 2018 and have raised $152M in financing to date.

To support the growth of the company, we are now looking for an AssistantController / Financial Analyst to join our Finance team based at our headquarters in Espoo, Finland. In this position you will report to the Finance Director.
The role:
- Executing monthly and quarterly internal management reporting of different business areas
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes, coordinating with business unit leaders
- Active role in sales tracking and invoicing process, contract management and reporting on customer activity
- Development of invoicing process and reporting of revenue and cashflow
- Assisting in various development projects related to internal controls and financial processes
- Review monthly results and perform monthly variance analysis vs actuals
- Ad hoc financial analysis of business activities and spending
- Partner with sales and customer service to ensure timely invoicing, collection and measuring of client usage
We are looking for:
The ideal candidate is a self-starter that enjoys identifying challenges and then solving them. To succeed in this position, candidate should ideally have:
- University or University of Applied Sciences degree in finance or accounting (Bachelor or Master)
- Scale-up / SME company experience, particularly in fast growing environment
- Relevant work experience in financial control
- Proficiency in Excel. Experience with financial accounting systems a plus (i.e. Netsuite) as well as experience in PowerBI or similar tools for reporting and analysis
- Strong communication skills - enjoys working cross-functionally
- Fluency in English. Ability to communicate, read and write in Finnish on B1-level
- Analytical mindset, drive for process development and optimization
