We are looking for an experienced Imaging Engineer to strengthen our multimedia technology department’s Imaging Team, situated in our Ramp;D Center in Tampere.
You will be responsible for :
- Designing and implementing new imaging algorithms,
- Imaging frameworks
- Simulation environments to support future camera solutions
Areas of focus include:
- Innovating new technologies for camera image processing with AI technologies
- Lead new innovations in the image processing and software area
- Ensure competitiveness of the Tampere imaging team in imaging algorithm area
Requirements
We expect you to have the following qualifications and experience:
- MSc. or higher in relevant field
- Excellent knowledge on artificial intelligence and deep learning
- Excellent knowledge of signal and image processing
- Excellent coding skills in multiple programming languages
- Excellent knowledge on software design and software optimization.
- Experience from implementing efficient algorithms for CPU and GPU.
- Understanding of imaging software, image quality and impact of efficient simulation environment in mobile camera development
Other relevant characteristics:
- Fluent English skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Photography as a hobby
Location
This is a fulltime, employee position at our Ramp;D Office in Tampere.
Candidates within EU or with valid residence permit for Finland are preferred.
