Tampere Handset Camera Innovation Lab is seeking for a motivated Optical Engineer to join our team !
Responsibilities:
- Propose innovational optics architecture design for the future camera system.
- Designing optics for the future camera solutions and developing Huawei’s capability in optics area.
- Analysis and verification of optical designs done in collaboration projects by simulations, tolerance analysis, ghost analysis and reporting results.
Optionally:
- Responsibility for building the optical measurement setups with new equipment to Tampere optics lab.
- Responsibility for operating the measurement devices and guiding others in the work.
Requirements
Basic Requirement:
- Education background: PhD in relevant field
- Work experience: At least 2 years experience of Image optics design
- Language: English (must),Finnish (preferred),Chinese (preferred)
Professional Knowledge:
- Knowledge of optical systems and measurement setups.
Key Skillset:
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Good optics design and simulation skill( Code V, Zemax and So on) is essential
- Optics performance measurement skill (Lens surface shape, MTF, distortion, ghost, aberration, flare, etc.) are beneficial
- Photography as a hobby appreciated
- Familiarity with Asian cultures and Chinese language skill are beneficial
