We are looking for a fullstack Clojure developer. We are building a graph-based search engine to help our customers to understand one of the most important data sets there is, the patents.
You will build new features to our search platform, creating AI-powered UI components and tools that allow our customers to work collaboratively. We first help the individual to understand what is out there, and then help them to communicate this for the others.
You would ideally have work experience with ClojureScript, but experience with React can also be enough. General software engineering skills are the most essential for your success in this position. You have already worked with complex software solutions and have learned to care for the quality of the solution. Ideally you also have solid experience with SQL.
Our software philosophy comes from Clojure and Rich Hickey: simplicity is good. With such complex domain, keeping the solution simple is definitely a worthy challenge.
You would be working in a small Scrum team, and we have a clear product owner, so you will be able to focus on what matters. We are still small, so bureaucracy and nonsense will be minimal. The company is less than three years old and we have had solid development practices from the get-go, so there is not too much legacy code.
