We are looking for an experienced, creative, and motivated Cloud Security Researcher, Technology to research and innovate on security and privacy protection solution with AI/NLP, end-to-end encryption technologies.
Areas of focus include:
- Propose new ideas and research on state-of-the-art security amp; privacy technologies in the context of Search, Maps, Web, Ads services.
- Design and implement the secure, privacy preserving solutions and develop prototypes.
- Establish research collaboration with universities, start-up to develop novel, state-of-the-art security and privacy technology.

Requirements
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large scale secure, privacy protection solution or/and end-to-end encryption system.
- Extensive knowledge in Linux host and kernels, how IP networks and network protocols work, encryption protocols, and scaling distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of existing cyber security threats amp; mitigation strategies, especially in the area of web application security threats and weaknesses (e.g. OWASP Top-10)
- Experience in designing AI security solution and working with Knowledge Graph, Knowledge representation, NLP is a big plus.
- Software engineering experience and hands-on with Python for backend.
- Experience with various public cloud environments and technologies is a plus.
- PhD in computer science, engineering, information security, or equivalent experience.
It will be great if you have the skills below but not mandatory:
- Adequate connections in local and international security community.
This contractor position is located at our Ramp;D office in Ruoholahti, Helsinki, Finland.
