We are now looking for an experienced board level simulation expert to join our team in Oulu. As a simulation expert you will play a key role in creating simulation environments, simulation capabilities and competencies. Goal is to Enable prototype verification before actual hw is produced and make optimal design in early phase of product development. In this role you will get to build and drive competencies and the related environments for Ramp;D at Oura. You will work as a board design and simulation expert and perform simulations and design for product development, concepting and maintenance.
What You will do:
- Perform EMC, PI and SI analysis
- Select and develop simulation tools/environments
- Guide collaborative design for HW design
- Ensure and maintain that Oura has needed simulation capabilities
- Develop best practices for virtual product verification
Requirements
We would love to have You on our team, if You have:
- Strong experience in PCB simulation; preferable in power integrity, signal integrity and EMC areas
- Experience of product development from concepting to maintenance
- Knowledge of Ramp;D processes and product development, preferably in consumer and/or wearable electronics
- An innovative mindset and good problem-solving skills
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electronics or information technology
We also appreciate following competencies, but these are not mandatory:
- Knowledge of HPC environments
- Knowledge of mechanical simulation environments
- Knowledge of interoperability between different simulation tools
- Experience of simulation automation
- MBSE
