Job Description
We are now looking for an HR Assistant to join our Finland Research Center and support our HR organization. This is a great opportunity to build up your experience in a wide range of HR tasks and to gain more responsibilities and advanced tasks as you go. Responsibilities
Main tasks and duties will include:
- Independent handling of onboarding and exit processes
- Internal communications, including composing internal newsletters and write up of internal HR policies and guidelines
- Assisting in occupational health and safety related processes and activities
- Participating and supporting in staff activities planning and organization
- Supporting in organization of staff trainings
- Serving the organization by answering questions from line managers/employees/contractors.
Additionally, this role includes a wide range of assistant tasks in daily HR operations, including:

What we are looking for
- People person with a positive attitude, a customer service mindset and passion for HR
- Someone with proactive working methods, sense of ownership and care for details
Requirements
- Motivated team player, who works well with others
- Experience from corresponding HR tasks or education in a relevant field (HR, business management, communications)
- Experience or understanding of Finnish labor laws and collective agreements (especially TIPAL)
- Excellent communication skills, especially in written and spoken English
- Experience from working or studying in multicultural environments and Chinese and/or Finnish language skills are considered as beneficial
Location: Ruoholahti, Helsinki, Finland.
This is a full-time consultant position with one year fixed-term contract initially and possibility to continue afterwards.
