We are obsessed with participant engagement, creating learning experiences where it is possible to learn very difficult skills in an enjoyable way and in a short amount of time.As our events intern, you will play an important role in creating brand awareness and relationship management with potential clients and alumni. We have a lot of events are coming up and we are looking for someone to support the Events Team with external speaking engagements as well as our own in-house events.
Your Responsibilities
- 40% Managing speaker availability, communication and logistics:
- Managing the promotion planning and content
- Ensuring all technical aspects for the event are settled
- Coordinating Growth Tribe representatives to ensure maximum success from all events
- 40% Reaching out to conferences and in house company events:
- Researching conferences and making sure we don’t miss the important ones
- Reaching out to event organisers and securing speaking gigs
- 20% Community Events:
- Supporting the events team in coming up with new innovative event formats
- Supporting monthly/quarterly/annual events on the Growth Tribe Campus

Your Requirements:
- You are enrolled in university - preferably in Event Management, Marketing or Communication
- Strong knowledge on social media channels to promote content (we have techniques we’ll share as well)
- You’ve gathered some sales experiences in one way or the other
- You don’t shy away from picking up the phone to call complete strangers
- Available full-time and ASAP
