Job Description
In this role as a Technology Cooperation Expert you will focus on scouting potential cooperation partners and contribute to our technology strategy:
- Keep pace with the cutting edge ICT technologies’ status and trends of leading universities, research institutes, companies and start-ups.
- Elaborate reports on technologies and relative resources in the relevant domains, publicly funded projects, investments.
- Take part to the elaboration of the annual cooperation and strategy of each domain.
- Support on communication with our potential cooperation partners and contribute to our technology strategy, our long-term goals and address partner pain points, concerns, and objectives.
- Expand and manage advantageous cooperation resources in Finland and Baltic region, establish network with renowned universities, research institutes, academic groups and enterprises in Baltic region, seek cooperation opportunities, and work with teams to develop proposals for research projects.
Requirements
- At least Master degree in Computer Science/Physics/Electrical/Telecom Engineering or related technical discipline. PhD would be a plus.
- Extensive knowledge and in-depth understanding of cutting edge ICT technologies. Hardware experience in consumer electronics is preferred.
- Ability to interact with all levels within the company and represent the company professionally.
- Independent, well-organized and structured working style with a hands-on and can-do attitude. Critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and independent working capability. Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in research cooperation, technology transfer, IPR and business negotiation can be considered as a plus.
- Fluency in Finnish, English; Working experience with Asian culture will be considered as a plus.
- The willingness and ability to travel, if required.
This is a fulltime contractor position for 12 months based in Ruoholahti, Helsinki, Finland. Contract may be renewed after assessing the performance.
Candidate needs to be eligible to work in Finland.
