Huawei Research Center is looking for Wearable Hardware Architecture Interns to join our Helsinki Terminal Hardware Prototype Lab.

Main responsibilities include:
- Technical insight and innovation of wearable hardware: Accurately grasp the industry trend through competitive product analysis and user survey, and conduct technical insight and innovation pre-research on wearable hardware based on wearable product requirements and pain points as well as future expected usage models to improve competitiveness and user experience.
- Specific Responsibilities:
- Based on the identified technology gaps, user requirements, and product pain points, select a key direction to gain insight into European resources.
- Identify potential opportunities and possibilities for new technologies based on identified European resources for further technology assessment and development.
- Participate in the prototype design and development of identified new technology points, and promote the productization of new technology points.
- Document the evaluation, design, and verification results related to identified new technology points, and promote the incorporation of new technology points into product design.
Requirements
- Major: Master’s degree students or above, majoring in electronics, communication, computer, automation, electrical engineering, physics, mechanical electronics, optoelectronics, instrumentation materials, biomedicine, etc;
- At least one of the following professional skill categories must be met:
- Technical innovation capability in optical sensors and health sensors, with expertise in 1 or 2 fields such as optics, biomedical, signal detection or signal processing.
- Be familiar with the detection principle of biomedical index, and be able to design and implement a small medical electronic system for single physiological index independently.
- Solid hardware basic knowledge, proficient in power/analog/digital circuit analysis and design, and successful experience in embedded software and hardware development and debugging, digital/analog sensor application and analog signal processing;
- Professional background in human physiology, electrochemistry, physiological monitoring, and sensor electronics; especially heart rate, electrocardiogram, blood oxygen, blood pressure, blood glucose and other related fields;
- Be proficient in the technical fields of different materials such as metals, plastics, ceramics, glass, and composites, including mechanics, manufacturing, simulation, testing, and DfR, and have a good understanding of system-level applications of different materials for wearable devices.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English
- Others: Strong teamwork spirit, dare to take responsibility, dare to challenge difficulties, and be able to bear pressure.
Location: Helsinki, Finland.
Term: 3-6 months
