We are looking for a Machine Learning Researcher to join a team of AI researchers in the Huawei Helsinki Ramp;D center to work on developing next-generation machine learning and CV/ASR technologies, delivering Huawei quality and state-of-the-art experiences to 100s of millions of Huawei devices.
What to Expect:
You will be part of a team of AI experts working to design, optimize, prune/quantize, and deploy neural networks that advance the state-of-the-art in computer vision and automatic speech recognition technologies for Huawei smart devices. You will also actively engage with the academic community by collaborating with universities, publishing and presenting your work, and participating in other academic efforts.
This position is located in Ruoholahti, Helsinki, Finland.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in machine learning, computer vision, or a relevant field with a strong academic track record
- Experience in efficient deep/machine learning model/architecture design for mobile devices
- Experience in model compression techniques (e.g., pruning, quantization, knowledge distillation, etc.);
- Experience with PyTorch or another major deep learning framework such as TensorFlow. Proven track record of research/publications on CV/ASR/NLP/ML/RL (NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, AAAI, IJCAI, CVPR, ACL, ICASSP, etc.);
- Skilled in explaining and presenting analyses and ML/CV concepts to a broad technical audience.
- Creative, collaborative, and innovation-focused.
