We are looking for a growth-minded individual with a strong technical aptitude and natural sales instinct to join our Sales team as a Sales Development Representative to handle our top-of-the-funnel sales pipeline. In this role, you will contact leads and nurture our customer relationships with a long-term and solution-focused approach. Your collaborative and supportive teammates consist of Account Executives, Consultants, and other Sales Representatives. Your teammates will challenge you and stand behind you because at Vaadin, no one is ever left alone. You will be part of an awesome international sales team with a mission to turn happy developers into satisfied customers.

What does the role involve?

  • Lead analysis and qualifying activities
  • Lead contacting and nurturing, via email, phone, and online chat
  • Increase pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns
  • Sales presentations
  • Achieve or exceed sales KPIs
  • Continuous process improvement

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Good organization and analytical skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced self-directed environment
  • Proven track record of succeeding in a goal-oriented environment
  • 6+ months of experience in a similar Sales position (preferred)
  • Strong desire to succeed and positive attitude
  • Must have fluent English skills (spoken amp; written)
  • Ability to learn and present technical information
  • Ability to think creatively and develop sales processes
  • Comfort level with software development as a conversation topic, in addition to solution selling is a definite plus.
  • Experience working with data, reporting, and CRM systems such as HubSpot
  • Studies in Information Technology or Business Administration (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
