Our team has developed and delivered products scaling up to millions of devices into the hands of our global customers and even more innovative solutions are on their way.
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer for our Empathic Building -development to work together with our team to scale up and continuously improve our EB and IoT products and solutions. To be successful you will need a proactive stance and make-it-happen mentality.
Your role:
- Driving the UX design work of the Empathic Building product line
What do you need to succeed in this role:
- You are seasoned specialist in UI/UX designing
- Already using Figma (or experience of similar design tools and interested in learning it)
- Enough image editing experience (Photoshop, GIMP, or similar) to quickly mock-up screen designs when needed
- Ability to understand technical details of IoT systems and transfer those to user services.
- Responsive and mobile first -design experience or at least basic understanding of the topic and interest in learning more
- Experience from SW development, working together with coders, testers, project leaders and other stakeholders
- You are able to work simultaneously with widely varying projects, jumping between them on short notice and have high tolerance for fast changes, uncertainty and undocumented processes - You’ll need to embrace changing challenges instead of fine-tuning a single project
- Ability to tune out of work in evenings, even when notifications keep popping up - personally taking control of own long-term work-life balance
- Fluent in English
As a bonus, you may have experience in:
- Illustrator (or some other vector editor) and designing vector icon sets
- Touch UI design, understanding its special requirements compared to desktop/laptop
- Designing for multiple screen sizes and device categories
- Designing for Flutter, Power BI, Qt, iOS, or Android
- Designing Web apps, especially for large, complex services
- External customer collaboration
